Neom City, a city of the future with HVO

Due to the request by the main world blocs to Saudi Arabia to reduce the production and export levels of crude oil, the Saudi government is currently working on several projects in order to improve the care of the environment.

One of the most important is the so-called Neom City, which consists of the creation of a futuristic city in the middle of the desert for 9 million people. It is framed within the “Vision 2030” initiative of the Saudi government and has become known as “a model for tomorrow in which humanity progresses without compromising the health of the planet”.

The city will be completely pedestrian – it is intended that it will not accommodate a single car within its 170 kilometers of extension – will have services such as schools, health centers and green spaces, and will be powered by 100% renewable energy, such as HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), providing residents with pollution-free, healthier and more sustainable environments. In addition, Artificial Intelligence will play a key role and the city will be a leader in water production.

From Inpro we are leading the use of HVO nationally and internationally, and that is why we celebrate and applaud the use of new energies and renewable fuels in projects such as Neom City.
