What should I do if the reading received is unintelligible? E01

Check that the transmitter is in a vertical position within the tank (making sure that the transmitter is not too close to the sides of the tank or to any internal obstructions). − Ensure that the transmitter is not too tight on the tank. − Ensure that the tank is not overfull and that the bottom part of the transmitter is clean.

What should I do if no reading is received after 6 hours? E02

Check that the transmitter is within reach of the display. Try placing the display somewhere that is closer to a window, remember that the transmitter and the display communicate through FM signal and moving the plug away from any potential metallic obstruction may improve the signal. − Check that there are no metal objects, such as vans or lorries, or that there is nothing within the structure of the building that could deflect the signal. Wait for an hour to see if the new reading arrives. − Ensure that the display is not too close to, or obstructed by, other electrical devices.

Why is a null reading received? E03

Check the positioning of the transmitter (ensure that the transmitter is not too close to the sides of the tank or to any internal obstructions). − Ensure that the transmitter is not too tight on the tank. − Ensure that the tank is not over-full, that is, that there is at least 12 cm from the liquid to the transmitter. − Ensure that the lower part of the transmitter is clean. − If the tank is double-walled, ensure that the transmitter is placed on the internal tank.
